I am Eveline Raijmakers and my passion lies in guiding children and supporting their growth and development. That is why, after my physiotherapy studies, I started the Master's in Pediatric Physiotherapy. I worked as a pediatric physiotherapist in Amsterdam for 4 years, and since 2014 I have been working with great pleasure at the Praktijk voor kinderfysiotherapie Eindhoven Noord. In addition, I also collaborate closely with the Atalanta primary school.
My specializations include children with:
- Psychosomatic complaints including ALK (formerly SOLK)
- Hyperventilation and dysfunctional breathing
- Orthopedic complaints and sports rehabilitation
- Lung issues (including asthma)
- Infant asymmetry such as muscular torticollis
- Mindfulness, meditation, and yoga
- Scoliosis
- Sensorimotor training
In my opinion, every age group has its own charm, and I really enjoy that variety. The most rewarding part of our profession, for me, is seeing children grow and being able to be part of that process. I believe it is important to build a good relationship with both the children and their parents. My work is different every day and full of challenges.
I am married and have two wonderful daughters. I love traveling, exercising, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
