I am Lianne Splinter, and I have been a pediatric physiotherapist since 2004. I have worked in various workplaces, and since 2013 I have been happily working at the Praktijk voor kinderfysiotherapie Eindhoven Noord. Since 2015, I have been a partner and co-owner of the practice. We have a close-knit team that I am proud of.
My specializations include children with:
- Clubfoot (Improved detection and treatment of relapsed clubfeet)
- Neurological disorders
- Intellectual and motor disabilities
- Sensory information processing issues
- Abnormal gait patterns
- Infants
- Sensory-motor training
- Orthopedic disorders
- Lung problems (including asthma)
- Hyperventilation/dysfunctional breathing
We have a good collaboration with Restiau podotherapy practice, and together with Mathijs Restiau, I hold a consultation once a month to look at abnormal walking patterns and/or motor skills. I work at the Barrierweg location of the practice and at KDC Heimdal. In addition, I see young children and children with complex issues at home. I really enjoy the variety, and this makes me go to work every day with pleasure. My work as a pediatric physiotherapist is my passion, and I find it fantastic that I get to work with children every day, each with their own needs. Watching a child grow and being part of that process together with his or her parents makes my work special every day. Quite early in my physiotherapy training, I knew I wanted to specialize in children. This led me to immediately start the pediatric physiotherapy program.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, good food, walking, sauna, and weekend getaways. At home, I have two children, a son and a daughter.
